Become a Volunteer
Serving one’s community improves everyone’s quality of life. Please contact our knowledgeable staff about opportunities for volunteering at the museum. Complete a Volunteer Application here.
Docent Opportunities in Museum Education
Do you love history and have a knack for telling a good story? Become a Museum Ambassador! Learn more at the museum’s Volunteer Orientation. The Education Department is looking for museum docents to lead tours to groups of all ages. Docents are super-volunteers: teachers and storytellers who love to learn and to share their interests with others. Participants in the training sessions will meet new people with similar interests, learn about the community and share their own experiences with the group.
